BECA is a volunteer organization. Without the help of our community volunteers, we would not exist and we would not be able to bring you all the benefits of having an active community association.
Volunteering in BECA is a great way to give back to your community and connect with other neighbours. If you are a high school volunteer, we will sign for volunteer hours.
There are many ways you can be involved in the community assocation on a volunteer basis:
helping out at events (summer BBQ, community yard sales, community clean-ups, and more)
helping out with ice rink maintenance
translation services when required
and so much more!
To sign up to be a volunteer, fill in form in the applicable sections below:
We have two rinks in our neighbourhoods: Bradley Ridge off of Renaud Road just before you enter the greenbelt, and Patrick Dugas, on Compass Street near Yellowbirch.
OUR RINKS ARE VOLUNTEER-POWERED, they are NOT run by the City.
We are looking for committed and reliable volunteers to help maintain the rink with our two rink masters, who will provide training if needed.
Please fill out the form below, and tell us which rink you are interested in, your availability (days of the week, times) and your cellphone number. If you are interested in becoming a rink trailer supervisor, please click here.
Fill out the following form and we will add you to our list of volunteers. You'll be contacted each time an opportunity arises.
HIGH SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS (for hours)
Note: We are currently fully staffed at both rinks for 2019-2020 season. Please come back next year!
